Does Tom’s of Maine use bleaching agents?
No, Tom’s of Maine uses sustainably sourced silica from sand and mini rocks instead of harsh chemical bleaching agents to whiten teeth. When you mix water with your Tom's of Maine Whole Care Toothpaste, the silica breaks down and works hard to scrub away stains without destroying enamel.

Mouthwash bottles and caps, toothbrushes, deodorant containers and caps, soap packaging, floss containers, and toothpaste tubes and caps can be recycled through TerraCycle®.
How to Start:
1. Create a Terracycle account. This is mandatory for participation and allows you to track your recycling and impact.
2. Collect your empties - no need to even rinse them out - and put them in an eco-friendly envelope, box or other container. Reuse packaging you already have for mailing.
3. Request and print your label from Terracycle.com
4. Ship!
