How you avoid single-use plastic

Single-use plastic permeates the products we use everyday — and only 5% of that plastic gets recycled, no matter how much you put in the recycling bin.¹ When you shop Grove and choose reusable, refillable, or concentrated products, or items made of more sustainable materials like infinitely recyclable aluminum and glass, you help reduce plastic in your home, oceans, and landfills.

To avoid as much plastic as possible, look for Beyond Plastic™ badges while shopping. Each product we sell has been evaluated against our Beyond Plastic™ standard to inform you of products that contain little to no plastic waste, or are reusable or refillable.

How you help recover ocean-bound plastic

It’s almost impossible to avoid plastic entirely, so when you buy products that contain plastic at Grove, we work with rePurpose Global to recover that same amount of ocean-bound plastic. Since 2020, the Grove community has helped recover over 19,000,000 pounds of nature-bound plastic in places like Kenya, India, Indonesia, Colombia, and the Philippines — and we’re just getting started.
